Dr Swetha Thakkar
Dr Swetha Thakkar enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in Women and Children's health.

Since migrating to Australia in 2009, she has enjoyed working at Nepean Hospital. Along with her overseas experience she has worked in different subspecialties within Paediatrics including NICU, Allergy, Behavioural Paediatrics and General Paediatrics for 5 years.
​
She has had the opportunity to work as an SRMO rotating through different specialities and learning about Indigenous health at Royal Darwin hospital. She worked in Newcastle GP practices for 3 years to complete her GP training.

Dr Hajara Rashid is bringing a compassionate and comprehensive approach to patient care. With particular interests in skin cancer detection and treatment, chronic disease management, and mental health, Dr Rashid is dedicated to supporting patients through all stages of life. She also offers specialized care in women’s and children’s health, routine skin checks, health assessments, and geriatric health, ensuring a holistic and preventive approach to well-being.

Dr Abie Thomas
Dr Abie Thomas has been the proud owner of the practice since December 2020, providing dedicated and patient-centered care to the community. With a strong focus on chronic disease management, mental health, health assessments, and geriatric health, Dr Thomas is committed to delivering comprehensive and compassionate support tailored to each patient’s needs.
As the proud owner of the practice, I’m delighted to welcome two highly experienced professionals to our team. Their expertise and dedication to patient care are a wonderful addition to our clinic, and I’m confident they will make a positive impact on our community. Our dedicated nurse, Vivian, has been an integral part of our GP practice for over four years, providing compassionate and skilled care to patients of all ages. She offers a wide range of services, including adult and childhood immunisations, comprehensive health assessments—particularly for those managing chronic disease conditions—ECGs, and expert wound care. Her commitment to patient wellbeing and clinical excellence makes her a valued member of our healthcare team.
